Video: October the 6th



October the 6th is a national day of mourning in remembrance of the13 Martyrs of Arad (Aradi vértanúk). They were the thirteen Hungarian rebel military generals that were executed on October 6, 1849 in the city of Arad by the Austrians after the Hungarian Revolution of 1848-1849. There were speeches given by government officials in various events around the country remembering the event. There were also gatherings outside of Hungary in Arad in Romania, the Ukraine and in Slovakia.
